Who We Are

ThriveIQ is a personal wellness logging app operated by Roarr LLC, doing business as ThriveIQ, based in Knoxville, Tennessee. ThriveIQ is not a medical device. It does not provide medical advice. It has not been evaluated by the FDA.

What Stays on Your Device

The following data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to our servers or any third party:

• All food logs, meal photos, and ThriveIQ Scores
• All symptom logs and feeling entries
• All lab values and biomarker entries
• Sleep logs, bowel logs, and hydration logs
• Health Journal content
• Apple Health and HealthKit data
• Your health goals, foods to avoid, and eating preferences

When you delete the app or use the "Delete all my data" option in settings, this data is permanently removed from your device. It cannot be recovered.

What Passes Through Our Servers

ThriveIQ uses a secure backend server (hosted on Render) to forward certain requests to the Anthropic AI API. This is required to protect your API security. The following data passes through our server in transit only — it is never stored on our servers:

• Meal photos submitted for food quality scoring
• Lab document photos submitted for value extraction (when feature is available)
• Meal names and descriptions used for ingredient generation (Thrive at Home feature)

These requests are encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Our server processes the request, receives the AI response, and returns it to your device. No health data from these requests is logged, stored, or retained on our servers.

What We Store Server-Side

Our server stores only the minimum information required to manage your account and subscription:

• Your Apple user ID (from Sign in with Apple)
• Your email address (if provided via Apple Sign In)
• Your subscription plan tier (Free, Pro, or Premium)

No health data is ever stored server-side. This will remain true until a future ThriveIQ 360 dashboard feature launches, at which point we will request separate explicit consent before any health data is stored remotely.

Analytics and Crash Reporting

Website: We use Google Analytics (GA4) on thriveiq.app to understand how visitors interact with our website. This collects standard anonymized usage data (pages visited, time on site, general location by country). No health data is collected via Google Analytics.

App: We use Sentry for crash reporting in the ThriveIQ app. Sentry captures anonymized technical data (error stack traces, device type, iOS version) when the app crashes. Sentry does not capture any health data, log content, or personally identifiable information.

Your Health Data Is Never Sold

We will never sell, rent, or share your health data with advertisers, data brokers, insurance companies, employers, or any third party — ever. ThriveIQ products are ad-free. Your data has no advertising value to us. Its only value is to you.

Apple Health and HealthKit

ThriveIQ reads data from Apple Health (HealthKit) with your permission, including resting heart rate, sleep data, steps, and active calories. This data is used only within the app to populate your logs and is never transmitted off your device. You can revoke HealthKit permissions at any time in your iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Health.

Children's Privacy

ThriveIQ is intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us at privacy@thriveiq.app and we will delete the account promptly.

Your Rights and Controls

You have full control over your data at all times:

• Delete all health data: My Health → Settings → Delete all my data. This permanently deletes all logs, lab values, and health data from your device.
• Revoke HealthKit access: iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → ThriveIQ.
• Request account deletion: Email privacy@thriveiq.app to request deletion of your server-side account record (Apple user ID, email, plan).
• Access your data: All health data is already on your device and visible in the app at any time.

Data Security

All data transmitted between the ThriveIQ app and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. Health data stored on your device is protected by iOS device encryption. We do not store payment information — all subscription payments are processed by Apple through the App Store.

Third-Party Services

ThriveIQ uses the following third-party services:

• Anthropic API — AI processing for meal analysis and ingredient generation. Data passes through in transit only, not stored. Anthropic Privacy Policy
• Render — Backend hosting. No health data stored. Render Privacy Policy
• Apple App Store / RevenueCat — Subscription management. Governed by Apple's privacy policy.
• Sentry — Crash reporting. Anonymized technical data only. Sentry Privacy Policy
• Google Analytics — Website analytics only, not in-app. Google Privacy Policy

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you via a notice in the app and update the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of ThriveIQ after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
